Only a very small quantity of magnums were produced from the 2010 vintage. Extraordinary quality. This is the same cuvée from 2010 which Decanter listed in their top 50 wines of the year of 2015 – drinking beautifully now yet carries remarkable aging capacity.

In 1947 my granduncle, Dr Brendan O’Regan, established the world’s first Duty Free at Shannon Airport, Ireland. He was a visionary man whose enterprise and initiative were the first steps in the creation of the global Duty Free industry we now have today. I have made this special limited edition cuvée of SUGRUE PIERRE in his honour, to commemorate his 100 year anniversary on 15 May 2017.
SUGRUE PIERRE Cuvée Dr Brendan O’Regan is a multi-vintage prestige cuvée blend comprising 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, aged in oak barrels. All the fruit was sourced from two exceptional vineyards on the South Downs of England, both meticulously managed. It possesses outstanding ageing potential, combining both power and structure with subtlety and finesse. Beautiful to enjoy now, it will grow in elegance and complexity if cellared for up to a decade.
